PSL 2021: Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi –Match 13 Preview – March 3 |



Defending champions Karachi Kings will face table-toppers of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) Peshawar Zalmi in their fifth round fixture on Wednesday (today) at National Stadium Karachi.


The two teams have faced each other 12 times in PSL’s history with Zalmi dominating the Kings mostly by eight victories while the latter could only win four games.

The Yellow Storm, despite being written off as a weaker team before the tournament began, has surprised everyone with their performance. They’re currently on top of the points table with 6 points after playing four games; winning three and losing one.

The title defenders, on the other hand, kicked off their campaign in PSL 6 with two impressive wins but lost their last two matches to Islamabad United and arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars.

While all team s have their strengths and weaknesses, it’s the toss that’s been the most deciding factor in the ongoing edition of PSL. In the 12 matches played so far, teams who have won the toss and batted second have come out victorious.

The match starts at 2pm and will be broadcast live on Geo Super.
